Brazil is renowned for its versatile coffees. This classic Brazilian Natural is excellent for espresso and use in blends. MC decaf refers to a decaffeination process for coffee beans using methylene chloride (MC), a solvent to remove caffeine. This method involves soaking the beans in water to soften them and then exposing them to MC, which binds with caffeine and extracts it. The MC is highly volatile and evaporates during roasting and brewing.
