How The Business Started

Brown Puck started in 2020 from a simple setup in our home and a shared love for coffee. As partners in life and in work, we, Andy and Gracia dreamed of building something small, honest, and full of heart. We didn’t set out to create a brand; we just wanted to serve coffee that felt personal.

Our Story

The name Brown Puck comes from the espresso puck, a compact disc of used coffee grounds left behind after each shot. To most, it’s just waste. But to us, it’s a symbol of the craft, the care, intention, and process that go into every brew. It reminds us that the quiet, unseen work matters most.

We believe great coffee should feel approachable, not intimidating. At Brown Puck, we care deeply about balance in flavor, in design, and in how we serve. We’re not here to impress; we’re here to connect, one cup at a time.

What began as a side project has grown into a coffee bar, a roasting brand, and a growing community. Through every shift, every roast, every early morning, we’re grateful to do what we love and even more grateful for the people who choose to share it with us. Most of all, we thank our Lord, Jesus Christ whose grace sustains every step of this journey.
